Benjamin Franklin once said, “Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing.”
Every big accomplishment requires a big struggle
And I’m this person who wishes for the world but is immensely frugal.
I demand the best and forget the rest
There’s nothing to lose, even if life is a big test.
I write everyday, not for practice but to reach out and at last recall
Of that seven year old who once scribbled her first rhyme on the wall.
I don’t draw to be remembered as another famous name
I want kids to know about my favorite color game.
To create something worthwhile requires an nerve wracking endeavor
So the time is now or never.
I’m writing another piece today worth a glance
You do something worth written about, you’ve got another chance.
Don’t be what the world wants to see
But be the one that you wish to be.
